This body of work was created from considering the impact of the images we idolize. Whether consciously or not, the images we idolize have a much deeper impact on our wellbeing. “what kind of elder will I be?” Is a piece and question that erupted out of witnessing the ongoing destruction of Mother Earth. All versions of me - from my child self, adult self, to my elder self - are connected through braids, using hair as a measurement of time and highlighting interconnectedness of generations across time and space.
